Seifu-Ryu Sencha Tea Ceremony
The group is based in the Shizuoka Prefecture, the largest production area of green tea in Japan, and it tries to disseminate the new tea ceremony called sencha-do. This tradition goes back to the late 19th century and it combines calligraphy, painting and flower arrangements to the tea ceremony art originally developed in China. During the Japan Week they wish to involve people in a total experience.
