Oriental Wasou Team – kimono dressing and show
The team, thanks to an amazing dressing technique, will transform the traditional Japanese kimono into a western-style dress. Since the team does not use scissors, the kimono can be worn afterwards in its classical form. Due to its versatility, this technique is gaining a good reputation at weddings and parties. In Torino the artists will show the traditions and the evolution of the kimono, and the public will enjoy the beautiful kimono paintings and the excellent craft skills used.

Doshisha University Magic & Juggling Circle Hocus – Pocus – magic and juggling
Group of magic and juggling from the Doshisha University, established in 2006. They perform in the university, in kid associations, student festivals, shows and street art sessions. This is their first exhibition abroad and hope to engage everybody with their show.

The Kinsho Group – traditional Japanese music
The group plays Japanese traditional music instruments such as the koto, the shamisen, the zhushichigen (17 strings) and the shakuhachi. They performed overseas in Korea, Singapore, Mongolia, France, and Australia. At the Japan Week they will play together with Ms. Yuki Sunami, an opera singer in Italy. They hope to delight the Italian public with their beautiful Japanese music.

Nagami Takayuki & Merry Artists Company – music and dance
The Merry Artists Company is a group launched overseas by art director Mr. Takayuki Nagami. Performers acting abroad as professionals will tell stories through songs and dances. Their performance has been described as “a show where art and entertainment coexist”, and it has been featured in many newspapers and TV.
